(Pallu, 1921) Music composed by Armando Leça
Based on the nineteenth century novel of Camilo Castelo Branco, Amor de Perdiçao is the story of the unhappy love between two young aristocrats from Viseu.
They live in houses across from each other but their fathers are irreconcilable enemies.
Their love, being unrealizable, the young woman dies of a broken heart in a convent.
Her young lover is exiled after killing a rival, and dies at sea.
Only part of the original score by Portuguese composer, Armando Leça remains.
